Jefferson zarate

Personal trainer

Several years ago, life felt like an uphill battle for Jefferson. He realized that he was his own biggest obstacle, and began reading and seeking out information to help himself. Over the course of a decade, he committed to self-improvement and discovered a combination of ideas which gave way to thinking more positively and act with greater intention. Jefferson learned to embrace discomfort—beleiving many of the things we truly want lie just beyond it. He lost 80 pounds and has since dedicated his life to better understanding and sharing what he has learned, so others can also achieve their best health—no matter where they’re starting from.

Jefferson pursued a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with the intention to minor in Nutrition at the University of Alberta—a program he chose to deepen his understanding of how food and movement shape our lives. While the degree is not yet completed, his personal journey led him to become a specialist in nutrition and fitness; holding several certifications, including Precision Nutrition Level 1 & 2, and Nutritional Coaching Institute Level 1 & 2.

Growing up, Jefferson had a complicated relationship with food and he understands how challenging it can be to feel in control of your health. After losing over 80 pounds and keeping it off, he came to appreciate the power of small, consistent changes over time. That experience inspired him to help others find their own path to wellness—one that’s both realistic and meaningful. Jefferson believes we’re just 3–5 daily choices away from becoming a much healthier and happier version of ourselves.

"It may not be easy, but it is simple."
